Play. Grow. Together.

Inclusive Baseball for Children, Young People and Women

Yard Ball is East Torrens Baseball Club’s inclusive baseball program for children, young people and women with disability, including autism, intellectual disability and psychosocial disability.

More than just baseball, Yard Ball is about creating opportunities for people to connect, belong and thrive. Participants build confidence, develop new skills, make friends and experience the benefits of being part of a welcoming and supportive community.

Learn new skills at your own pace in a flexible and supportive environment. Yard Ball is a great option for people who are new to sport or who haven’t found the right fit in other sporting programs. We understand that everyone is different, which is why we offer flexible participation options and a range of non-competitive and competitive opportunities. Our focus is on helping every participant feel welcome, build confidence, form meaningful connections and enjoy being part of a team.

Who Can Join?

Mightee-ball (Ages 4–7) uses inclusive activities and approaches adapted from Yard Ball to support all children to learn, play and develop skills in a fun and welcoming environment.

Sox Stars and Sox Sluggers (Ages 8-18) provide flexible opportunities for young people to develop baseball skills, build confidence and enjoy being part of a supportive team.

Women & Teenage Girls (15+) train alongside the ETBC Women’s Squad, providing opportunities to develop skills, build confidence and connect with the wider club community.
