YARD BALL

The ETBC Yard Ball Program is an initiative designed to make baseball accessible to everyone in our community. Funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services, this program focuses on children, young people, and women with intellectual disabilities, psychosocial disabilities, and autism. It will launch as a 7-week modified baseball program for the 2024/25 season, with plans to expand in 2025/26.

Our goal is to build a more inclusive baseball community by addressing barriers to participation through various activities. The project will include capacity building, training, volunteer opportunities, and awareness raising, all to enhance community engagement and support the needs of our participants. By involving individuals with disabilities in the program’s development and implementation, we will ensure that it supports a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.

Whether you’re a player, family member, carer, volunteer or supporter, Yard Ball offers the opportunity to be part of our baseball community where everyone can participate, connect and have fun together.
